MY STORY: Minecraft : Steve's adventure

MINECRAFT : STEVE’S ADVENTURE

Steve was doing his homework.  Within minutes he was dreaming. His dream was about him having Diamonds, redstone and other  good valuables.

Suddenly Steve heard  some Fireworks, but it was not,  it was a bomb.

Steve woke up from his dream, then Steve went underground  (that’s what he likes to call his basement) to find his toy jet so he can fly it, but that was not the time. He had to go and get some valuables.

So he went and found a boat, he found a driver “ arrrrr me haty what do you want” Priate Larry said “mmmmm oh yeah can you drive me the looted island PLEASE?” Steve said.

“Oh ore rite here we go (we we wo we wo)” Priate Larry said.  “We are not going that fast” Steve said “I no, I just like doing that” Priate Larry said

“Land  ho” Priate Larry said “ok how do I get off? “ Steve said “arrrrrrr” Steve yelled As Pirate Larry pushed him off the front of the boat.

“Hehehe” Priate Larry said.

Steve set off for his adventure to find diamonds, redstone and other good valuables. “Hay this looks like the photo that dad showed me.

I should go in it, because dad said it is the way to get the valuables” Steve said.
Steve went mining, he found a room filled with blood and bones. Then he heard burning pieces of wood “holy gloka moley” Steve said…

“There is a Ender Dragon.

That explains the the fire burning that pieces of wood. I can go under it.”

So  Steve went under it.

”Yes I found it!!” Steve said  “grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” the Ender Dragon growled at Steve.

Steve got his sword out and killed it.

Steve and his family lived happily ever after.

week 2 .literacy.

I am blogging this because I love doing speech's.

We are learning to write a speech.

I was quite happy that I did not have to read my speech to the other people that choose speech. That made me happy because I am shy.

I only had to read my speech to Miss Plimmer.

I enjoyed Hunters speech because it was funny [when Miss Plimmer was getting ready for Hunter's speech he was like a weather reporter, he was very funny and that made me happy].

My Speech:

Topic :People should not fish
My Goal :Show examples of single, compound and complex sentences.

Knock Knock “who's there?”
Fishing rod
“Fishing rod who?”
Fishing rods should be banned because you should be able to swim with the fish, you could feed them and it it cruel seeing them die. Sit back and enjoy my speech.
Everyone should not fish because if you have no one to play with the fish will come and play with you. Some say that if you don't fish they will get more tame and you can swim with them. Millions and Millions of fish will love to play with you. It is so fun and exciting and get to know fish. Do you know how they will get more smart to keep Away from the fish hooks
Another Reason why people should not fish is because you can feed them at the National trout centre.
People should come to the national trout centre to feed them because they're so cool seeing them eat they eat the fish food in  1 Second.  Everybody knows that You can feed them at the national trout centre it is really funny seeing them jump up in the ere. It is like a Motor when you Chuck the food in the water they Fight  to get the food I love it.

Another reason why people Should  not fish is that it is cruel seeing the fish get smacked on the head by the fish smacker. They start blending  and blood splatters out of the gills and onto your face. The people  that do that are murders. If the fish were having a fun time with their family, their family would be pouring out with tears because one of their children is being smacked really hard. I have proven to you people Should not fish.

You should now believe me that people should not fish. I have proven to you that you can  swim with them, you can feed them and it is really cruel seeing them die. Here is an interesting fact the largest gar ever known, caught in Louisiana in 1925, was 3 m long and weighed 137 kg.

week 3. maths task.

I am blogging this because it was so hard that it is number 1 for hardest maths task.

We are learning about  Mass and capacity (measuring). It is the hardest because you have to work out really hard tasks and you were not allowed to use a calculator and you had to show your workings.

It took me a long time to finish this task and I got some of them right which made me feel good.

Next time with a task like this I would ask Mr Moriarty more questions because I only sort of understood it.

I am glad that I finished it  and Maths is still my favourite learning task.

WALT What Counts In Solving A Maths Problem
(A process Learning Intention)
Criteria
Details
READ IT
Understand the Problem
  • Read the problem. Highlight the key information. Work out  all parts of the problem?
  • Do I know what to do? Talk it through to understand it better
THINK IT
Make a plan
  • What strategies could I use? diagram, chart, what operation, bar model?
  • Can I think of similar problems that I have worked on?
  • Discuss strategies with a buddy
SOLVE IT
Carry out the plan
  • Apply the strategy, show your working
  • Check my work and ask yourself is my answer reasonable
EXPLAIN IT
Communicate the solution
  • Answer the question
  • Tell, show write - how you got your answer
  • Evaluate - reflect on your outcome

WALA mass and capacity (measuring)
HOW MANY BISCUITS?

Gladstone School bought 200 cartons of biscuits to sell for fundraising. Each carton contained 15 kg of biscuits.
Each packet of biscuits in a carton weighed 250 g.
(1000 g = 1 kg)
a) How many kg of biscuits were there to sell? 3000 kg
  • 200 times 15 = 3000
  • 200 times 10 = 2000
  • 2000 times 5 = 1000
  • 2000 + 1000

  3 times 4 = 12                              250
                                                      250
                                                      250
                                                      250
3000 times 4 = 12,000
b) How many packets of biscuits were there? 12,000 packets
